Freestyle & Competitive Skating

Freestyle & Competitive Skating Overview

Upon completing Learn to Skate and/or Aspire, skaters are encouraged to advance their skating through the U.S. Figure Skating structure. This includes participation in testing, competitions and exploration of each of its divisions — singles moves in the field and free skating, pairs, ice dance and synchronized skating. The U.S. Figure Skating level structure is as follows:

Freestyle at Sno-King Renton

Freestyle sessions are scheduled and managed by Sno-King Renton and are typically offered Monday through Saturday. Skaters and families should familiarize themselves with session rules, as noted below.
