OfferUp Used Skating Equipment

Find Used Costumes and Skates!

Do you want to sell that pair of skates that are now too small for you or your child? Are you
looking for a dress for your skater’s upcoming competition season and don’t want to spend
$300+? Now you can!

Cascade Valley Figure Skating Club is promoting the optional use of OfferUp, a free
online platform. You can buy new and/or gently used skating items, or you can sell those new
and/or gently used skating items that you no longer need!

Selling a Skating Item
If you would like to sell an item, begin your posting title with: “CVFSC" which will help club
members specifically identify sale items posted by other club members. Public OfferUp users
will also have access to our club members’ sale postings, which will increase their posting’s
visibility and sales potential.

Here is an example of a current sale posting on OfferUp. It is titled:
CVFSC – Jackson Debut Figure Skates, Size 4.5, R width

Interested buyers can ask you questions on the OfferUp website or app, or they can make you
an offer! The communication and transaction with interested buyers will be completely
handled by you.

Buying a Skating Item
If you are looking to buy something specific, type the item name in the search box. If you want
to specifically buy an item from one of our figure skating club members, type “CVFSC” in the
search bar
and you will see all sale postings made by our club members. You can then ask
the buyer questions, or you can make an offer! The communication and transaction will only
be between you and the seller. CVFSC receives no money for the transaction.

Access
Go to www.offerup.com or download the app to your phone. Create a FREE account (paid accounts
are available, but unnecessary).

Notifications/Alerts
Notifications or alerts can be set up to know when a CVFSC member’s item has been posted.
Here are the steps for the app:
1.) Click on Home.
2.) In the search bar, type “CVFSC” and hit enter.
3.) Click on the bell (to the right of the search bar) to set the notification alert.

We invite you to peruse the items posted by our club members!

If you have any questions, please email
[email protected]. Happy shopping
and happy selling!

Cascade Valley Figure Skating Club accepts no responsibility for the buying and selling of items. Cascade
Valley Figure Skating Club also accepts no responsibility for any transactions made with cash,
Venmo, Zelle or other means. Using the OfferUp platform is completely optional, and Cascade
Valley Figure Skating Club receives no reimbursement or profit from sales made through
OfferUp.
